Winterlight is a pattern of which I've only seen one piece--a creamer. It is beautiful and if I were to start a new pattern collection today, would probably be the pattern I'd select. Interestingly enough, on the factory seconds price list I have, it was supposedly only produced during odd years or made to order. To me, this might mean this is one of the more difficult patterns to locate since pieces were only produced every other year (and this alternating years of production involved six different listed patterns).

Hello,
ReplyDeleteI've listed a Winterlight Sugar Bowl on eBay if anyone's interested...
Maria
I found a couple of pieces that I think might be this pattern, but they look a little different, so I'm not sure. Could I send you pictures of them? I don't think I can post pictures here. Also, one of the pieces has the usual mark, but also has a mark with an F instead of the NP. Any idea what that means?
ReplyDeleteI have a coffee cup/mug with the letter M and 81.
ReplyDeleteI know the 81 stands for 1981. Who was the Potter with the letter M?
Thank you so much,
Janet
