Night

Night appears to be a predominately black glaze with either some swirls of another color glaze or the absence of another glaze--I am unsure which.  It was listed in July of 1988 as one of the mid-price patterns in the seconds, factory pricelist.

  1. This was the set that I chose for my wedding "china" in 1979. I absolutely love it because of the abstract pattern. It has a classic look that has definitely stood the test of time. Once we had kids in the 1980s, I put the stoneware set away, for 32 years, until we moved. Sadly, three of the plates and two bowls were broken in the move. I looked on replacements.com and to my surprise, they had three plates, which were broken in shipping. So, I am still on the hunt and if anyone ever comes across this pattern, please let me know. I would be most grateful!

  2. Hi There. It says this stoneware came out in 1988. You say you purchased it in 1979?

    1. The Night pattern was introduced in 1974. So it could have been purchased in 1979.
